A 3-Book Visual Planning System

Build your off-screen Control Center.

Clarity Board turns your goals, your active work, and your actual week into something you can see — on paper, on your desk or wall, moved around with sticky notes instead of buried in another app.

Why It Works

Your plan shouldn't live behind a lock screen.

Most planning tools ask you to open an app, log in, and dig through menus just to see what's on your plate. Clarity Board is the opposite: open the book, and the whole picture is right there.

👁️

Visible

Your goals, active projects, and weekly schedule are on the page in front of you — not one more tab you forgot to check.

🔄

Movable

Mini sticky notes hold your tasks, so priorities shift without redrawing a single grid. Write once, move as often as you need.

📓

No App Required

No login, no sync errors, no notifications. Just three books, a handful of sticky notes, and a pen.

The Method

Three books. One question each.

Clarity Board separates the three things your brain tries to hold at once — what matters, what you're actively doing, and when it's actually happening — into three dedicated books that work in sequence.

Book 1

Goals & Planning

Keeps longer-term priorities, commitments, and future work visible — so nothing important gets lost off the bottom of this week's task list.

ParkedGoalsDeadlinesWaiting
Book 2

Workflow

Keeps your active work visible and manageable. Move a project from Book 1 into Doing, and track the smaller tasks and calls that come with it.

Calendar

Answers the question "what am I actually doing with my time this week?" A 13-week visual planning system with room for every hour, Monday to Friday.

Mon–Fri, 8am–4pmEvening block13 weeks

4 colors. 3 Books. All your tasks.

Pick up to four sticky note colors and give each one a meaning: one for Projects, one for Goals & Deadlines, one for Admin, one for Calls. Keep the same color for the same type of work across all three books, so a green note always means project work, whether it's Parked, Doing, or one of the deskwork blocks you set aside on the calendar, and a yellow note always means a goal or deadline. Glance at any note and you instantly know what kind of work it is, no matter which book you're looking at.

Why I Built This

Hi, I'm Dr. Adam Abramson.

I built Clarity Board because I was drowning in apps, tabs, and notifications, and none of them gave me a plan I could actually see. Splitting the system into three books — what matters, what's active, and what's happening this week — was the fix. Now it lives on my desk instead of behind a lock screen.

Common Questions

FAQ

Do I need to buy all three books, or can I start with one?

Each book works on its own — Book 3 (Calendar) is the most popular starting point if you just want your week visible. That said, the three are designed to work together: Book 1 decides what matters, Book 2 makes it active, and Book 3 puts it on the calendar.

What sticky notes do I need?

Mini sticky notes at 0.6" × 2" (15 × 50mm) fit the task lines in all three books. Pick up to four colors and assign each one a category — see the Supplies section above for our recommended pack.

Can I just write directly on the pages instead of using sticky notes?

Yes — colored pens or pencils work fine. The trade-off is that written text is static, so you lose the ability to move a task from "Parked" to "Doing" to a calendar time block without crossing it out and rewriting it.

Where do I keep the books while I work?

Lay the book open on your desk and secure it flat with large paper clips or binder clips, or clip/pin it open on a bulletin board near your workspace. The goal is to keep it visible, not tucked in a drawer.

What's the size of each book and total system?

Each book, opened and hung on a bulletin board, measures 11" × 17" (28 × 43 cm). Hang all three side by side and the full system takes up about 33" × 17" (84 × 43 cm) of wall space.

How long does each book last?

Book 3 (Calendar) is built as a 13-week visual planning system — roughly one quarter per book. Books 1 and 2 are undated, so they last as long as you need them to.

How much does the full system cost?

All three books are $12.99 each (about $39 total), plus mini sticky notes at around $7 — roughly $46 total plus shipping on Amazon. That covers a full 13 weeks (about 3 months) of weekly planning with Book 3, while Books 1 and 2 keep working for as long as you use them.

Can I customize the categories and colors?

Absolutely. The suggested color mapping in each book is a starting point — swap "Calls" for "Exercise," or "Admin" for whatever your work actually looks like. The system is yours to adapt.
